Strike Two

Looks like we still will not know if he can swallow due to sleepiness even without medication. Charlie was awake and mad from 10:00 to 11:30 but as soon as we were preparing to leave to X-ray he fell into a deep sleep. When we got down to radiology, I sat him up and he would fall back asleep while sitting so I held him and he fell asleep in my arms then we put him in this seat for the test and he fell back asleep there too. We even stretched his fingers out (which usually gets him to cry) and he only winced. They do not have any other openings today so we are put on the schedule for Monday. Hopefully the extra time will allow for more progress with alertness, coughing, and swallowing so he will be ready.

I'm with Meghan (yawn). Did not know it was cliche day-- I will work on that.
Really just wanted to comment on Charlie's hair. Too cute.
The cliche= cute as a daisy.

I thought it was fresh as a daisy.....which it sounds like Coop's breath is not.

Hang in there Angel. Let us know if we can take Britt or anything else.

not sure about the cliche day, but definitely cute as ever! ....I'm tired too. Too bad we don't live in Mexico and we could all take a little ciesta (is that the word, or is it fiesta?)

Or, maybe it's not too bad we don't live in Mexico.....

Rob and Angel you both amaze me. Your strength and endurance during this time is such an inspiration to the rest of us parents out here. I have been so worried about Charlie's eyesight that I too pray that it has been untouched during all this trauma. I look at his pictures and look into his eyes and just wonder what is going on in that little head of his. I long for this to be over for all of you. Enough is enough I say! Continued thoughts and prayers for your little guy. His cute little chubby cheeks, those perfect lips and that sweet face. I am sure it is a comfort to know he is yours forever.

Man he is stubborn. I wonder who he got that from? ;-) He just wants to do everything in his own time and way. I hope the tests go well. His pictures are so cute. I am glad he is having fewer storms and more relaxed awake time. I really hope he has either his eyes or his ears to work with-preferably both. Keep us updated!

He looks like an angel and he looks so peaceful. I wish I felt that peaceful. Sometimes cliche's are the only way to say what you want to say. Anyway, what a beauty!

Rob, We have all been taken by your little son up here in Idaho. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. It was good to see you back at work.

All your friends at the Holiday Inn Pocatello.

So I leave for a few hours to watch some basketball and come back to find I have been mocked by my sweet neices (even though I corrected myself BTW). Gimme a break (cliche alert) I'm old as dirt.
