Impressed :)

So I'm really excited about this news so I thought it needed it's own post. Charlie held his head up by himself for 1-2 min. At the begining of his PT session today, Janine sat him up and he held his head in an upright although favoring the right side position all by himself. Of course, by the time I went to get the camera he was tuckered out and didn't do it as well again but we both witnessed it and were very impressed with him.

Yay, Charlie! I was so excited to check in on you tonight. And just imagine my surprise to see you holding your adorable little head up. We are so proud of all your hard work and so grateful for your wonderful parents, brother, extended family, and all the staff at the hospital. Congrats from your friends in NC. :)

Nice job Coop! He is trying so hard isn't he? He has done so much in the last couple of weeks. It's hard to type with tears in my eyes but I am so proud of the little guy.

I think you have a huge Charlie Fan Club!!! We will all continue to cheer him on. I hope you and your family will try to update the blog as ofetn as you can. Your little boy has made such a positive influence on SO many lives!!! I cannot begin to tell you all of the ways you have blessed my life and given me strength to endure what I have to. If a sweet baby can do it, so can I! May blessings continue to come your way and angels attend you throughout your day!
Love,
One of Charlie's biggest fans!

WOW this is great to see. I'm so happy that you guys have got to this point. Looks like it's almost time to start another new chapter. I would love to see the look on Charlies face when he reads about all the love, concern, and faith that has surrounded him during his hospital stay, and the people he has touched that are so far away. God bless you.

The primary song "I hope they call me on a mission" keeps playing through my mind. Charlie is my Latter-day Missionary. He teaches me more and more each day as he strives to be better than he was yesterday. Me finding this blog was no mistake, it was the answer to my prayers. May blessing continue to fall upon you and your family.
With love always,
Charlie's greatful friend
