Get the Kleenex!!!- Thanks TROY

Troy has spend a lot of time compiling TWO wonderful videos of the pictures that were taken at the 5K race. Everytime I watch it I tear up. I am still so in awe of how many wonderful people came to support us last Saturday. All I can say is... WOW! Thank you again for coming and thank you to Troy for capturing the spirit of the day through the video. I will always remember it! Love you all--Angel

HINT: Two ways to watch the below videos...

1.When watching the video's below, you can avoid stoppage if you start it then pause allowing a few minutes for the video to fully load.

2. If you have Real Player, a tab will pop up above the upper right corner. Click on that and you can download the video.

3. The best way to view it is to only have one youtube frame showing on the monitor.

That was so beautiful! What an amazing family you have. Thank you for sharing Charlie with us! I can't wait to run that race every year.

PS-I sent an invite to your mom to view our blog but I don't think she knows how to set it up. I'll send you an invite to and then you can show her how to do it. Thanks!

i am not a narnia fan, and i'd never hear the wunderkind song. so i looked up the lyrics, and can't get over these lines:

...Blink disbelieving eyes chilled to the bone.
Most visibly brave
No apprehended gloom...

i am a magnet for all kinds of deeper wonderment...
... i am a prince on the way to my throne...

sharp work troy. leave it to you to bring us those introspective words.

Dear Troy,
I have been lurking around Charlie's blog since its inception, when my two month old daughter had meningitis as well. I am very happy to see that Charlie is progressing and I continue to pray for him. During our month-long hospital stay, a family friend gave us a Family Chef gift certificate for 12 gourmet meals that are delivered frozen to your home. We never used it (our freezer isn't large enough to store them) so I wanted to pass this certificate on to your family. Please email me so I can send you the information.
Best regards,

How cool are people? Yeah, that sounds corny, but in the months that this has been happening to your family, how many different people have stepped up and offered things to you? People have offered food, money, pictures, time, love, videos, bits and pieces of your home, thoughts, prayers, and I could go on and on... Thank you for creating this blog in your times of hardship! It has brought so many people together who never would have had the opportunity to meet. Thank you! THANK YOU!!

Much love and many prayers to the Christensen Clan!

Magnificent! Sterling! Wow! the whole fam damnily (quoting Marge). Except me, of course and I won't miss again. I love you all and this was beyond words the neatest, coolest, most inspiring thing I have ever witnessed. I am talking not only about the walk/run, but everything over the last 5 months.
Love, Jill

What an amazing turnout! There are so many people in that area that love Charlie, I wish I could have been there too. I live in PA or I would have been out there in a charlie shirt. HE is such a special little boy and you guys are great parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousings etc. May God bless each and every one of you.

That is just incredible. The back of the Tees got me and then seeing the young and old together got me again. You guys just continue to amaze and inspire me.

It seems like you have adapted quite well and things are going great at home now too!
